How do treatments help relieve pain?

Typical responses to treatments include:

  • Rapid pain relief
  • Reduction of swelling and inflammation
  • Increased mobility and range of motion
  • Improved sleep quality as a result of the above changes

How many treatments are needed to relieve pain?

The number of treatments needed varies based on the type of pain the patient is experiencing.  At Hope Clinic of Integrative Medicine, we customize treatment programs and packages based on our patient's individual circumstances.

What does the treatment actually consist of?

Hope Clinic of Integrative Medicine uses non-invasive techniques. We encourage patients to come in for a consultation to see the types of modalities the clinic uses.  An overview of state of the art technology and how it works can be provided.

Are there any potential side effects?

There are no side effects associated with the treatments.  After treatments, patients may experience a feeling similar to achiness after a workout, which is part of the body's healing process.

Does your clinic prescribe pain medication?

We do not believe in masking pain with pharmaceuticals or blocking pain with anesthetics or steroids.  None of these techniques allows for tissue repair.

Is this like acupuncture?

Treatments often result in acupuncture-like effects, as many of the treated areas are similar to acupuncture points.  The main difference is that our treatments are completely non-invasive.

How do I know if the treatments will be effective on my pain?

Most pain resulting from a soft tissue injury or condition tends to respond well to treatments.  However, due to individual differences, treatment results will vary.  We encourage you to contact us to schedule a consultation to determine if our treatments are appropriate for your condition.
